Mystery Quilt Weekend
March 1st to 4th, 2012

Join us for a fun weekend making your own Mystery Quilt!  The class Fee is $25 per person with your teacher available for the weekend!  Special rate of $210 will apply for your stay for the weekend (total for weekend & class $235).  This will be a fun weekend of making a Mystery Quilt and making new friends.  Marque, who teaches at "Quilting Sisters" and at the Community College in Payson, will be teaching the class and will be available throughout the weekend to help you complete your quilt top.  You will be given instructions on fabric requirements before the weekend and receive "Clues" as the weekend progresses.

Rug Twining


Learn to Twine a Rug out of all that Scrap Material!

Twining is an old form of weaving which makes beautiful "rag rugs".
It is a tight form of braiding and is great for using up scraps of fabrics. 
The warp (vertical fabric) can be made from muslin or a sheet from Goodwill!!  

Looms are available:
 $60 to make an area rug approximately 24" x 36"
$40 to make placemat size approximately 12" x 16"
(Purchase both for $90 and they will be made to be interchanged to make a table runners)

Your rug can be completed in about 1 1/2 days with a bag of scraps!
Call to place your order and your Loom will be ready when you arrive for your retreat and
 I will be available for the weekend to help you complete your first rug!

Spend the weekend with your daughter or granddaughter at "Quilting On The Rim".   Bring your daughter and enjoy the weekend quilting, scrapbooking, walking or whatever you enjoy - sharing the weekend together.  Join other mother/daughters and make new friends who share your same interests.
